Lion Country Safari

This excursion is only available during Miami transfers and tours. The Lion Country Safari Park is divided into 7 sections of the park, each must be experienced while inside a vehicle due to the wild animals
roaming free in each area. There is one area (Called Safari World) where guests can walk, see animal exhibits, purchase food and enjoy entertaining rides.
The 7 areas of the park are:
Las Pampas or the Grasslands. This area exhibits animals such as the Brazilian Tapir, LLama, The South American Rhea, Florida Brown Pelican and Fallow Dear.
Ruaha National Park: Featuring large horned animals from the African wilderness, such as the Greater Kudu, Impalas and the Aoudad.
Kalahari Bushveldt: This area is based on a large plateau region in Southwest Africa. It features horned animals form that same area such as the Nile Lechew and Gemsbok.
Gir Forest: This area is based on a well known park in India. It features Asiatis Water Buffalo, Nilgai (the largest antelope in Asia) and the Blackbuck antelope.
The Gorongosa Reserve: This is home to the Lions in the park. There are no other animals in this area except for lions due to the instinct for Lions to hunt the other animals!
Serengeti Plains: One of the most colorful area of the park, it features African Elephants, Ostrich, Wildebeest, Waterbuck
Antelope and the Mouflon.
Hwange National Park: Named for a famous animal reserve in Western Zimbabwe, the Hwange Reserve is home to Zebra, Chimpanzees, Giraffe's and the endangered species: The White Rhino. Numerous White Rhinos
have been born in this preserve adding to their
at risk population world wide.
